Library
The library at North Elementary School serves as a welcoming space where students can explore new ideas, discover a love of reading, and develop important research and information literacy skills. Through access to books, digital resources, and engaging learning activities, students are encouraged to become curious, independent learners and lifelong readers.
Library classes provide opportunities for students to explore a variety of genres, learn how to locate and evaluate information, practice digital citizenship, and develop skills that support classroom learning. The library also promotes creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for reading and learning.
Whether students are checking out their next favorite book, conducting research, or participating in a library lesson, the library plays an important role in supporting academic growth and fostering a love of learning.
